The pediatric residency program prepares licensed physical therapists from SAU with advanced knowledge and clinical practice skills in the specialty area of pediatric physical therapy.

实习课程
The curriculum consists of a series of three in-person classes in combination with self study and distance learning experiences. 包括放射学在内的面对面课程, 高级儿科治疗, 教学实习, 并指导临床街区. In-person learning is blended with at home study courses and asynchronous learning modules to provide the advanced training needed for specialization in pediatric physical therapy. Self study will be completed using the Medbridge PCS Prep Course Modules as well as asynchronous and synchronous modules presented by the APTA Pediatric Residency and Fellowship Consortium.

The clinical component of the residency is currently being offered in collaboration with Genesis Health System and the Mississippi Bend Area Education Agency.

Laura practices full time as a physical therapist in an outpatient orthopedic clinic as a Board Certified Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist. She completed an orthopaedic residency program to become a Certified Manual Therapist and is an Advanced Credentialed Clinical Instructor. She has also completed the Therapeutic Pain Specialist certification and has an interest in treating chronic pain as well as all orthopedic conditions. 她和St一起工作. galaxy银河娱乐场app as the Orthopedic Residency Program Director and assists with musculoskeletal labs.
